Bertie was commissioned to create a mural within the In Clinic Physiotherapy gym in Mosman Park. She was given the freedom to paint anything, in her style. she wanted to incourperate the gyms logo in some way witch was a red swirl representing how the trainer starts with the client and works with them until they have the skills to go out on their own and be successful. Bertie painted an Icosahedron, the big geometric shape in the middle, which represents the element of water in sacred geometry and in turn can have the meaning of going with the flow and being yourself, from which a giant oceanic swirl is coming out of to tie back to the gyms logo. riding on it are many triangles, the icosahedron is made up of triangles, they gradually change colour and eventually fly out to form a bird that evolves into a realistic bird, that is now free!
Bertie's style of artwork is relished with bold acrylics that complement and as well project a sense of optimism and life. This mural is all about finding your inner strength after going through the obstacles to shape you into a blossoming and colorful individual you are.
